Under 13 and 16 Indo-Pak Cricket Cup from July 31

Chandigarh, July 28 (UNI) In order to give exposure to budding cricket players in the under 13 and under 16 age groups, St John's Cricket Academy here will host Indo-Pak Cricket Cup.

The series will be held between St John's Cricket Academy and St Anthony's High School, Lahore, Pakistan from July 31 this to August three.

St John's School Principal and chief patron-cum-secretary of the Cricket Academy Mrs Pushpinder Cheema told media persons here today that St Anthony's delegation will consist of 47 members, including two cricket teams under 13 and under 16 age groups alongwith 20 teachers.

The Pakistani delegation will be led by Mr Cecil Chaudhary, Principal of St Anthony's High School Lahore, Pakistan.

This would be the first opportunity for players of both the teams to play aginst international teams, she added.

Principals of both the schools will inaugrate the tournament jointly. The final prize distribution ceremony would be held on August three at 1600 hrs.

Chief coordinator and Coach of St John's Cricket Academy School Nagesh Gupta said that both the teams are expected to give a tough fight to each other during the matches. The players and staff of St John's Cricket Academy are excitedly looking forward towards these matches.
