Two get lifer in double murder case

Patna, July 28 (UNI) A fast track court has awarded life imprisonment to two people in a double murder case.

Judge Ram Pravesh Choubey found Subodh Singh and Pramod Singh alias Ganga Singh guilty of murdering Krishna Jamadar and Rambabu Paswan.

The judge acquitted 21 other accused in the case in the absence of sufficient evidence.

According to the charges, Krishna Jamadar and Rambabu Paswan were shot dead by the convicts at Parthu village under Punpun police station area of Patna district in 1984.

The case was pending in the court since 1988.
