Three get life term in Bihar for murdering a boy
Banka, Bihar, July 28 (UNI) A local court today sentenched life term to three persons in connection with kidnapping and murder of a six-year old boy in 2001.
Three other accused in the same case were handed to ten years imprisonment.
Additional district judge of fast track court, R S Chaudhary sentenced life imprisonment to three after hearing arguments of both the accused and prosecution. The other three had been given 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 each, failing which they would have to spend six months more in prison.
They had kidnapped and subsequently murdered Chhanguri Poddar, a six-year-old son of Anil Poddar at Bela village under Amarpur police station in Banka district in September 2001.
