Sensex up 30 pts at 10,771.73 in intra-noon trade
Mumbai, July 28 (UNI) The investors' confidence is once again high after they have taken fresh positions on the futures contract option, as the July derivatives' contracts successfully closed yesterday.
The BSE Sensex was up 30 points in the intra-noon trade, as the investor confidence is revived by the extremely good quarter-one performance by benchmark heavyweights.
Currently, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensitive Index (Sensex) is trading at 10,771.73, as compared to the previous close of 10,741.59 points.
Major losers on the Sensex were - TCS, Bajaj Auto, Infosys, HDFC and Reliance Industries, down between 0.22 and 50.56 per cent.
Gainers on the index were - Dr Reddy's Lab, SBI, BHEL, Grasim, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Ranbaxy, ACC and HDFC, all up between 1.42 and 4.29 per cent.
