Security strengthened at Mulayam's native district following blast
Etawah, July 28 (UNI) An alert has been sounded here, the native district of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, following a bomb blast under Kotwali police station area.
SSP M Ashok Jain today said a woman identified as Meera (30) was critically injured in the incident, that took place in S D Field locality yesterday.
The victim was a tenant in the house, where the blast took place, and had moved in barely a month back.
Mr Jain said the land-lord's son was engaged in making crude bombs. He is absconding since then, he added.
The SSP informed that security had been beefed up at all the public places including temples, mosques, bus station and railway station in the district.
Mr Yadav is slated to visited Etawah on August 2 and the incident has caused considerable concern among the district administration.
