Rear Admiral Muralidharan takes over as 'FOST'

Kochi, July 28 (UNI) Rear Admiral M P Muralidharan today took charge as the 'Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) at the Naval Base here.

Prior to this appointment, Rear Admiral Muralidharan was Naval Attache at the Embassy of India in Russia.

An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, he was commisioned into the Navy in 1975 and is a recipient of 'Nao Sena Medal', according to an official release here.

He was the Principal Director of Naval Operations at the headquarters in New Delhi and Director of the Indian Naval Tactical Evaluation Group in Mumbai, it added.
