Rain likely at several places

Pune, July 28 (UNI) The southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Orissa and active over east Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh,Gujrat Region, Madhya Maharashtra and Chattisgarh.It has been subdued over Arunachal Pradesh.

Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Gujrat State,Konkan and Goa,coastal Karnataka,Kerala.Heavy rains are likely to occure at most places in Gangetic WestBengal,Orissa,Madhya Pradesh,ChattisgarhMadhya Maharashtra and at many places in Jharkhand,Bihar,east Rajasthan.

Rain or thundershowes are likely to occur at most places in Vidarbha,Marathwada and at many places in Uttar Pradesh,Punjab, Haryana,Andhra Pradesh,interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram,Tripura, Sub-Himalayan west Bengal and Sikkim, Uttaranchal,Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Andman and Nicbar Islands.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat region, Marathwada, coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and at many places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Telangana and at few places in Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar islands, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in west Rajasthan, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Arunachal Pradesh and Bihar.
