Police arrest three, recover 1100 pieces of detonators

Rourkela, July 28 (UNI) The police today arrested three people and seized nearly 1900 pieces of electronic detonators from their possession.

Police said all the three accused did not have any valid licence to trade or transport the electronic detonators.

On being interrogated, they confessed that the detonators, used for blasting of mines, were being transported.

The police were investigating into their link with any outfits in the state and the reason for carrying such a large number of detonators.
