Over five huts were gutted in fire

Pondicherry, Jul 28 (UNI) Morethan five huts were gutted in a fire at Mettuppalayam near here today.

According to fire service sources a spark from the wastes burnt by childrens on a road side spread to nearby huts.

Three fire tenders from Gorimedu put out the fire.

The loss was estimated around Rs 50,000, sources said.
