OSD denies arrest of naxals

Rajahmundry, July 28 (UNI) Officer on Special Duty (OSD) V Satyanarayana today denied that five members of Prathigatana (CPI-ML) belonging to Godavari Loya Dalam were arrested by the police on July 26.

When contacted over phone, Mr Satyanarayana said there was no truth in the report. Whenever arrests were made,it would come to his notice, he said from Rampachodavaram.

However, reports reaching here said Alivenkateswarlu, Saidulu, Anvesh Mukherjee, T Murthy and Radhakka (wife of Pulla Reddy) were taken into custody by the police.
