NPP Leaders to get security cover in Militant Areas

Jammu, July 28 (UNI) The Union Home Ministry has issued direction to the Jammu and Kashmir government to provide adequate security cover to Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) leaders during their visit to the militant infested areas of the state.

Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman of NPP, has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the Union Home Ministry in this regard. This would be helpful for NPP leaders in contining their political activities in the state, he said.

The NPP chief had earlier requested the Prime Minister for his intervention in this matter.
