Most wanted dacoit gang offers bell at temple

Gwalior, July 28(UNI) Giving a slip to police, Madhya Pradesh's most wanted dacoit gang, led by Gadaria brothers Dayaram and Rambabu, offered a brass bell at the Thakur Baba temple near their native Harsi village in Shivpuri district in the wee hours yesterday, police said.

More than 350 personnel of police and other security forces have been deployed to rein in on the gang, carrying a reward of Rs 15.5 lakh.

The dacoits tied the bell around 0530 hours. On a tip-off, police of Gwalior and Shivpuri districts reached the spot and brought down the bell.

Jungle search continued to nab the gang, police added.
