Srinagar, July 28 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet has approved various draft bills which will be presented in the six-day legislature session commencing from today.
The cabinet, which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, approved these draft bills for presentation in the legislature session, an official spokesman said today.
He said the bills include Office of Profit, Finance Commission, bills pertaining to Constitutional amendments and amendment in the Representation of People Act.
However, the main opposition party in the Assembly, the National Conference (NC) alleged that a six day session was not enough to deliberate upon important issues.
The leader of the opposition in the house, Abdul Rahim Rather said if they were not allowed to raise the important issues, including prevailing security situation, unemployment, price rise, corruption and bad finncial management in the house, they will take to roads.
''There will be no business tomorrow as President APJ Abdul Kalam will address a joint session of the legislature, he said, adding only five working days would be left for the entire business.
