Israel's military chief Lieutenant taken to hospital
JERUSALEM, July 28: Israel's military chief Lieutenant-General Dan Halutz was briefly taken to hospital today after feeling unwell but was later allowed to go home, Israel's Channel 10 television reported.
Channel 10 said Halutz had been taken to hospital with stomach pains but was later released after doctors found nothing wrong with him.
In an interview with Israel's Maariv daily newspaper published today, Halutz said he was only managing to snatch half an hour of sleep here and there in Israel's 17 days of conflict with Hizbollah guerrillas in Lebanon.
