Indian increases number of flights to Delhi
Chennai, Jul 28 (UNI) Indian, the national carrier, has increased its flights to Delhi with effect from August 1, 2006.
Indian would be operating a fourth flight between Chennai and Delhi. The daily evening flight IC 802 would leave Chennai at 2000 hrs and reach Delhi at 2230 hrs. In the return direction, flight IC 801 would leave Delhi at 1645 hrs and arrive Chennai at 1915 hrs.
The other three flights between Chennai and Delhi would operate at its existing timings, a company release said here today.
On the Delhi-Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram sector, flight IC 167 would leave Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 0900 hrs, reach Mumbai at 1055 hrs, leave Mumbai at 1155 hrs and would reach Thiruvanathapuram at 1350 hrs.
On other days, the flight would leave Delhi at 0930 hrs, reach Mumbai at 1125 hrs, leave Mumbai at 1215 hrs and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 1410 hrs.
In the return direction, on all days the flight IC 168 would leave Thiruvananthapuram at 1455 hrs and reach Delhi (via Mumbai) at 1955 hrs.
With immediate effect, the flight IC 549 and IC 550 on the Chennai-Port Blair-Chennai sector would operate four days a week.
The flight would operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and would leave Chennai at 0600 hrs and reach Port Blair at 0805 hrs. In the return direction, the flight IC 550 would leave Port Blair at 0845 hrs and reach Chennai at 1100 hrs, the release added.
