If voted to power, INLD promises to abrogate Reliance deal
Hisar, July 28 (UNI) If voted to power, the INLD would annul the Reliance SEZ Project agreement, Rajya Sabha Member and Indian National Lok Dal leader Ajay Chautala said while talking to reporters here today.
Saying that the Congress government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda had compelled the farmers to sell their fertile land for the Reliance project to achieve its own selfish motives, Mr Chautala said, ''We will nullify the project in the interest of the farming community''.
Mr Chautala also accused Haryana Chief Minister of misleading the people on the issue of the power generation by making ''false'' statements and said the people had become ''totally disenchanted'' with the Congress government.
He also criticised the Congress party for ''honouring'' Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh though he had been announcing that he won't let even''one drop of water'' enter Haryana.
Mr Chautala was here to address the party workers and supporters of Adampur and Ghirai segments under Jan Jagran campaign. Former ministers Prof Sampat Singh and Subhash Goyal, district president of INLD Puran Singh Dabra also addressed the party workers.
