ICSA India secures 2 patents for its products

New Delhi, July 28 (UNI) ICSA India today said it has secured two patents for its Intelligent Cathodic Protection (I CAP) System and Intelligent Automatic Meter Reading (IAMR), from the Controller of Patents, Government of India.

The I CAP system has been developed for pipeline applications, which automatically acquires data from various test lead points, transformer rectifier units and other stations if any spread over along the pipeline in on-line. It processes the data and forecast in real time. It has in-built security facilities to tackle various unforeseen problems.

The major objectives of the system are that it improves the efficiency of conventional CP, forecast the pilferage or pipeline tampering and improves the life of pipeline.

The IAMR, an embedded device, collects the data at a remote central location from energy meters and other devices located at consumer premises through wire and wireless. It is useful for all the distribution companies throughout India for HT and commercial consumers.
