Foreign reserve grows by 88 mn to USD 163.348 bn
Mumbai, Jul 28 (UNI) According to a weekly statistical report issued by the RBI, the Total foreign exchange reserves as on July 21 grew by USD 88 million to touch US Dollar 163.348 billion compared to the previous figures of 163.260 billion.
The foreign currency assests also as on July 21 surged to US Dollar 156.398 billion compared to previous weeks US Dollar 155.716 billion.
Besides, In keeping with the international best practices, RBI has included USD 76.3 billion as reserve in the International Monetary Fund which is same to the previous weeks figure of US Dollar 76.5 billion. The figures for the total food credit and non food credit as well as the total outstanding on Accomodation provided to the commercial sector by the scheduled commercial banks has not been changed. As on July 07, the food credit stood at Rs 37,854 crore and the Non Food credit was at Rs 15,04,135 crores.
Total outstanding as on July 07 was to the tune of Rs 38,683 crore.
