Five students of Jadavpur University rescued
Purulia, July 28 (UNI) Five students of Jadhavpur University, including two girls, who had gone trekking at Mathburu hill here, were rescued by the police and villagers today after they fell into a river.
Purilia Superintendent of Police Ashok Prasad informed that the students had gone to take a bath at Dariakhali waterfalls at Ekra village when they were swept away by the strong currents.
''All the students managed to get hold of a rock when they were swept away and were rescued from different places,'' he added.
All the students were admitted to hospital.
