Fakenotes racked busted in Hubli
Belgaum, July 28 (UNI) Police today busted a fake currency racket with the arrest of six people, including the main accused, who circulated fake notes in north Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Superintendent of Police Hemant Nimbalkar told newsmen that the main accused, identified as Suresh Bannatti, was a post graduate in computer science and used to print the notes. He was circulating them through people known to him in Hubli, Dharwad, Bagalkot in Karnataka and Ichalkarnji and Miraj of Maharashtra.
He was offering a commission of 10 per cent commission for those who circulated the fake notes above Rs. 10,000. 75 notes of Rs 100 denomination was seized, the SP added.
The arrested were being produced before the court.
