Ex-Army officer nabbed for making threatening calls
Jalandhar, Jul 28 (UNI) A former army officer was nabbed here today for making threatening phone calls to Mumbai and the United States.
The accused, Jasdeep Singh, who had served with Rajasthan Rifles on short service commission (SSC) as a Captain, had made threatening calls to some people in Mumbai and the US, including officials at US Consulate in Mumbai, a Punjab Police spokesman here said.
He was nabbed from a locality in the Garha area here, after he made the phone calls ''in a frustrated state of mind'' police said.
The police was investigating the case, the spokesman added.
