Engineers India Q1 net down 38.16 pc to Rs 27.82 crore

Mumbai, July 27 (UNI) The state-owned Engineers India has posted a 38.16 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 27.82 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 44.99 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has decreased by 37.87 per cent to Rs 161.26 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 from Rs 259.58 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.
