Dr Reddy's Lab to issue bonus shares to shareholders

New Delhi, July 28 (UNI) Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd today announced the issuance of bonus shares to the shareholders on a 1:1 ratio and also approved the payment of dividend of Rs 5 on each equity share of Rs 5.

At the 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) it was also decided to increase the authorised share capital from Rs 50 crore to Rs 100 crore, a statement issued here said.

The AGM also passed the re-appointment of Mr G V Prasad as Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Meanwhile, BSR&Co has been re-appointed as statutory auditors till the conclusion of AGM to be held in the year 2007.
