DHL courier launches 'Rakhi Express'

New Delhi, July 28 (UNI) Worldwide express and logistics company, DHL, today launched a premium 'Rakhi Express' service, ensuring safe, quick and reliable delivery to over 220 countries around the globe with complete solutions for the coming Raksha Bandhan festival.

In the uniquely designed package, the Rakhi is encased in a silver-coated Thali with small containers for the tilak and unbroken rice grains, a small kalash for holy water and an attractive 'Diya'.

The charges applicable for DHL Rakhi Express are discounted upto 40 per cent as compared to standard DHL tariff rates.

Sisters can also personalise their Rakhi Express packages by sending their own Rakhi and gifts, that weigh upto 500 gms, which will be picked up free from their doorstep, a statement said.

To take this initiative a step further, DHL's customers will also receive a free gift voucher worth Rs 250, which they can use for their next express shipment.

''At DHL, we not only provide express and logistics solutions to our customers for their consignments, but also try to analyse what their needs are and try to determine how best DHL can simplify and meet these needs,'' DHL Express Marketing Head Chandrashekhar Pitre said, asserting the sentimental value attached to gifting a Rakhi is an integral part of celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
