Court registrar receives threatening letter
Mumbai, July 28: Tight security bandobast is being maintained around the city civil and sessions court in South Mumbai following a letter, allegedly received by its registrar, threatening that the court and some religious places would be blown today. City civil and sessions court registrar S S Narvekar told sources over the phone that he had received a letter from Chennai on Tuesday which stated that more blasts would occur in the city today.
Meanwhile, police said heavy security is being maintained around the court and city's religious places, including the Mahalaxmi temple and Siddivinayak temple.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, the court functioned normaly as usual.
