Cadila Healthcare profits up by 2%
New Delhi, July 28 (UNI) Cadila Healthcare today reported 2 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 49.2 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 47.9 crore for the same period last year.
The company's total income went up by 7 per cent to Rs 375.4 crore for Q1FY07 from Rs 348.2 crore Q1FY06.
The Group posted a 7 per cent hike in net profit at Rs 58.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as against to Rs 34.2 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.
Its total income increased 2 per cent to Rs 450.7 crore for the quarter against Rs 373.2 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
Yesterday the company said it received permission from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) to conduct Phase-I clinical trials on its New Molecular Entity-ZYH2.
