Business transaction affected following Bank strike in Tripura

Agartala, Jul 28 (UNI) Business transaction in all the nationalised Banks throughout Tripura was hit today following the nationwide Bank strike, called by All India Bank Employees Association, All India Bank Officers Association and the Bank Employees Federation of India in support of their five-point charter of demands.

They had been demanding the withdrawal of outsourcing and circular of Banking service along with the withdrawal of the outsourcing of the clearing houses by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The Bank employees, including officers, staged demonstrations and held meetings in support of their demands.
