Bomb blast wounds 19 in Pakistan's Quetta city
QUETTA, Pakistan, July 28 (Reuters) A bomb blast outside a bank wounded at least 19 people in Quetta, capital of Pakistan's troubled southwest province of Baluchistan, police and doctors said.
Two of the wounded were in a critical condition.
The explosives had been planted in a motorcycle parked outside the bank, according to police.
Suspicion fell on the separatist Baluchistan Liberation Army (BLA), though tribal militants have also been in revolt.
Just last week Baluch police began a crackdown on Afghan's living in Quetta without proper documentation. Police said they were targetting Taliban fighters, but analysts doubted whether many of the near 300 Afghans detained belonged to the Taliban.
