Bogey derails, train services disrupted

Saharsa, July 28 (UNI) Train services were disrupted under Saharsa-Mansi section of East Central Railway when a bogey of a goods train jumped off tracks near Dhamaraghat today.

Railway sources said the bogey of a goods train carrying boulder derailed between Dhamaraghat and Koparia station disrupting train services on this route.

The trains 5207 Dn Barauni-Saharsa Express, 5209 Up Jan Seva Express, 345 Dn and 344 Up passengers trains had been cancelled besides several important trains were stranded at different stations on this route, sources added.

Meanwhile, a team of engineers and senior officials had rushed to the spot to clear the tracks for restoring train services.
