Bodies of gangsters of Chhota Rajan gang found

Pune, July 28 (UNI) The Crime Branch Pune, exhumed bodies of notorious gangsters allegedly belonging to the Chhota Rajan Gang from Khed taluka of this district and arrested one person in this connection.

ACP Crime, Sanjay Jadhav told reporters that one person, Ravindra Tukaram Garud (35), resident of Kharpodi in Khed taluka who was arrested and booked under the Arms Act on July 22 from Vishrantawadi area in the city for possessing a country made revolver and four cartridges, admitted to dacoity and murders.

On interrogation, Garud confessed to having murdered known gangster Shyam Shishupal and one Daya both belonging to Chhota Rajan Gang in March 2002.

Garud said he killed Shishupal after finding him in a compromising position with his niece. He gave the two some liquor and after getting them drunk murdered the two and buried them in Khed.
