Balaji Telefilms Q1 net rises 38.84 per cent

Mumbai, Jul 28: Balaji Telefilms has posted 38.84 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 17.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 12.51 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased by 17.31 per cent to Rs 75.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 from Rs 64.51 crore for the similar quarter previous year.
