Asahi India Glass Q1 net down 70 pc

Mumbai, July 28 (UNI) Asahi India Glass Ltd has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 4.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 16.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, a decline of 69.59 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total revenue (net of excise) has increased from Rs 155.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 173.64 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
