AP Youth to represent India at global meet
Hyderabad , July 28 (UNI) Young Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam will represent the country at the 'Global Young Leaders Conference'(GYLC) to be held from July 30 in Washington DC.
Mr Tharun, one of the 360 outstanding students representing more than 100 countries, will leave for the United States tomorrow.
He will have the opportunity not only to exchange ideas with many of the Global Leaders but also meet top policy makers, journalists, diplomates, academicians and business leaders and build critical leadership skills at the global contest.
More than 50 embassies in Washington DC from various countries around the world will be participating in the GYLC Honorary Board of Embassies.
Tharun had won first and second prizes at the International Youth Festivals conducted by the City Montessori School, Lucknow, during 2006 and 2005 respectively.
