AP Government to hold drama competitions for staff

Hyderabad, July 28(UNI) In an attempt at encouraging the artistic talents of its employees, Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to conduct drama competitions exclusively for them under the aegis of the Department of Cultural Affairs.

The Secretariat Cultural Association will conduct the competitions at the prestigious Ravindra Bharati Auditorium here from September six to eight.

Secretariat Cultural Association in a statement said a committee under the chairmanship of the district collector would select a play from each district and the finals would be held here.

The best play would be awarded Rs 10,000 the release said and added the second best play would get Rs 7,500 and the third best Rs 5,000.

The association asked employees to submit their entries by August ten.
