88 Lankans evacuated by AI from war-torn Lebanon

Mumbai, July 28 (UNI) The fifth special flight operated by Air India to Larnaca for evacuation of Indians from war-affected Lebanon arrived in Delhi, in the early hours today, a release from airline said here.

There were 419 evacuees on board, which included 88 Sri Lankans and 16 Nepalese.

Air India has, on the five special flights operated so far, carried 1,868 evacuees including 1,719 Indians, 61 Nepalese and 88 Sri Lankans.
