83 schools in Delhi have illegal constructions within premises: Govt

New Delhi, July 28 (UNI) As many as 83 schools in the capital have made unauthorised constructions inside their premises, Lok Sabha was informed today.

Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken informed the House in a written reply during Question Hour that the MCD had booked these schools for violation of building bylaws.

DDA flats: The next draw for LIG flats by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) was expected in September this year, the Minister informed the House in response to another question.

The DDA would allot the HIG and MIG flats by the end of January 2007, he said.

The Minister said 1400 HIG, 1700 MIG and 632 LIG flats were available for allotment in Rohini, Narela, Dwarka, Shalimar Bagh and Kalyan Vihar.
