Youth nabbed for luring jobs in gulf countries
Nagpur, July 27 (UNI) A 26-year-old youth was today arrested by the city police for allegedly preparing and providing bogus passports to jobless youths in association with a gang from Andhra Pradesh.
Police sources said Avinash Dyaneshwar Samnerkar, a resident of Ganjakhet here, nabbed at the Nagpur Airport here this morning. When his mobile was checked, it was revealed that he had called one Pasha 128 times.
He had alleged links with one Sheikh Mehmood Pasha, the gang leader operating from Andhya Pradesh, who lured jobless youths from that state and sent them to the Gulf countries assuring jobs there on bogus passports, police informed.
Avinash was one of the gang members in the city, who prepared bogus passports and made arrangements for sending the jobless youths to the Gulf countries.
Earlier, some youths were allegedly cheated by the gang members, demanding thousands of rupees from them, police added.
