Youth Cong members arrested for blocking roads

Hubli, July 27 (UNI) Over 500 activists of the Youth Congress and the Kalasa Bandori Drinking Water Project Action Committee were today arrested when they blocked almost all roads leading to Chennamma circle here, at different points to register their protest.

They were protesting against the non inclusion of Hubli-Dharwad twin city in Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Project and non implementation of the much-awaited Kalsa-Bandori drinking water project.

The arrested were released in the evening, police said.
