Youth commits suicide over failure in love

Bhopal, July 27 (UNI) Upset over his failure in love, a youth today attempted to commit suicide in front of his lover's house by inflicting gunshot on himself this evening, police said.

Deepak Bharadwaj was admitted to a private hospital in serious condition by his friend Sanjay Tomar.

City Superintendent of Police Dharmveer Singh Yadav said Sanjay and Deepak's girlfriend said the youth inflicted the gunshot from a countrymade gun to his temple.

Earlier, Deepak had called up the girl and expressed his desire to marry her. As the girl said she was married, Deepak, who was frustrated, reached her home and fired himself.

Deepak, a bank employee's son, was in finance-related work.
