Workshop for OBC workers (Baxi Panch) of congress begins here

Rajkot, July 27 (UNI) Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Sachin Pilot today criticised Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for politicising the Mumbai serial blasts and appealed party members to come forward to rescue people of Gujarat who feel 'unsafe' in BJP regime.

Addressing the Congress workers at a workshop for OBC workers (Baxi Panch) of Gujarat here today as a chief guest, the young MP said that the need of the hour was to take terrorists attacks more seriously rather than making frivolous remarks.

Mr Pilot said Congress never made such frivolous remarks when the terrorist had attacked Parliament during the NDA regime.

He said only Congress Party's ideology could unite the people and urged the workers to spread the party's ideology at the grass root level.

He said Congress government always worked for farmers welfare apparent from the stand taken at the World Trade Organisation G-6 meeting at Geneva.

Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Bharatsinh Solanki, leader of Opposition in Gujarat Legislative Assembly Arjun Modhwadia and other Congress leaders spoke on the occasion.
