UP govt has failed to neutralise terrorists: Keshri Nath

Kanpur, July 27 (UNI) The Bhartiya Janata Party today held the Mulayam Singh Yadav government responsible for terrorist activities in Uttar Pradesh.

Participating in 'padyatra' against price rise and terrorist activities, state unit BJP Chief Keshari Nath Tripthi said the state government has failed to neutralise terrorist activities from across the borders including Nepal, while it has already accepted that out of 70 districts, 34 districts of the state were under the grip of terrorism.

He alleged there were large scale infiltrations through Nepal and Madrasas were being developed rapidly.

''Nobody is questioning the growth of wealth in such institutions and is there any agency which could keep watch on the entry of the ''so-called'' students in Madarsas.'' he said.

He added it was due to appeasement policy of the UP government, Hindus and Muslim communities were divided, While the posts of Sanskrit teachers in the educational institutions remained vacant and one teacher was attending 100 students, but the appointments of Urdu teachers specially in madrasas were going on.

Mr tripathi has called upon the youth to oppose the appeasement policy of the government as it would gradually ruin the Ganga Jamuna culture of the state.
