2 killed and 1 HM militant arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, July 27: Two persons were killed and a Hizbul- Mujahideen (HM) militant was arrested in the Kashmir valley over-night, official sources said today.

They said militants shot dead one Rafiq at Tekya Barmulla in north Kashmir late last night.

Militants attacked a patrol party of security forces at Handwara in the frontier district of Kupwara last evening, security forces also returned the fire and in the exchange of fire one Milk Dar was killed.

However, local residentes alleged that Dar was killed by the security forces without any provocation.

Sources said Border Security force (BSF) arrested a HM militant at Keller in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
