TVS Electronics revenue at Rs 52.69 crore in Q1

Chennai, July 27 (UNI) TVS Electronics Limited has reported a revenue of Rs 52.69 crore this quarter, ending June, as against Rs 53.28 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2005.

The core printer business witnessed a drop in shipments due to delay in purchases by key large customers. However, the company maintained its market leadership in value terms.

The company was also recently ranked as the number two dot matrix player in the Asia Pacific region by Gartner. The company won major orders from Bank of Baroda, Indian Railways and DGS&D during this period.

In the Keyboards category, the company had one of its best performances as it shipped over 100,000 units for the third quarter in a row. The company enjoyed a share of 55 per cent plus in the mechanical keyboard segment.
