TMMK stages demonstration

Chennai, July 27 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) today staged a demonstration urging the Centre to stop construction of an iron wall at the disputed site at Ayodhya.

TMMK General Secretary S Hyder Ali and President M H Jawahirullah led the agitation, held in front of the Memorial hall here.

The demonstration was also to condemn the recent Mumbai blasts and to urge the Centre to sever diplomatic links with Israel in the wake of bombings in Lebanon.
