Three NSCN cadres killed in factional clash

Kohima, Jul 27 (UNI) At least three NSCN cadres of rival factions were killed and several injured in a fierce inter-factional clash at Longlam village of Mon district in Nagaland yesterday.

Official sources here today said both rival factions of NSCN were engaged in a gun battle, which lasted for over an hour leaving two NSCN(IM) cadres and one NSCN(K) cadre dead in the village.

Some cadres of both the factions also sustained wounds in the gun battle.

However, the exact number was yet to be ascertained.

Details were awaited, sources added.
