Bangalore, July 27 (UNI) Folloiwing is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Monsoon was active over Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Subramanya 11; Kollur 10; Sringeri, Gubbi 9 each; Kammardi 8; Yadgir, Jayapura 7 each.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Mudibidre, Siddapura, Belthangadi, Dharmasthala, Gerusoppa, Sirsi, Jagalbet, Thirthahalli 6 each; Shirali, Joida, Kadra, Aurad, Bhagamandala, Mudigere, Hosanagar 5 each; Mani, Puttur, Karwar, Bhatkal, Linganamakki, Koppa, Lakkavalli 4 each; Bantwal, Haliyal, Somwarpet, Sagar, Kalasa Sakleshpura , Nelamanagala , Kunigal 3 each.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at many places over Interior Karnataka.
