SR to run two special trains to Bangalore
Thiruvananthapuram, July 27 (UNI) To clear the extra rush of passengers during the months of July, August and September, the Southern Railway will operate two special trains to Bangalore from Ernakulam and Nagercoil.
As per the proposed schedule Bangalore-Erankulam-Bangalore weekly express would leave Bangalore City at 1715 hrs and reach Ernakulam Town at 0430 hrs, the next day. In the return journey the train would leave Ernakulam Town at 1700 hrs and arrive Bangalore city at 0420 hrs, a SR release said here today.
The special train will operate on every Fridays from Bangalore and on every Saturdays from Ernakulam starting from July 28.
The Bangalore-Nagercoil-Bangalore weekly, via Madurai, Kodaikanal and Tirunelveli, will leave Bangalore City at 1745 hrs and reach Nagercoil at 1045 hrs, the next day. On its return trip, the train would leave Nagercoil at 1530 hrs and arrive Bangalore city at 0900 hrs, the next day.
The train will leave Bangalore on every Sundays and Nagercoil on every Mondays starting from June 30, the release added.
