Ramco Systems Q1 net loss at Rs 6.78 crore

Mumbai, July 27 (UNI) Ramco Systems Ltd has posted a net loss of Rs 6.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to net loss of Rs 6.02 crore for the similar quarter last year.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 31.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 33.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Commenting on the results, P R Venketrama Raja, Vice Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, said: ''Ramcos continued focus in delivering real value to customers is reflected in the global recognition for Ramco virtual works and a positive revenue growth.

We have turned cash positive globally during the quarter and our investments in people and partnerships are expected to lead us to a profitable growth in the coming months''.
