Jeypore, Jul 2 (UNI) A strong willpower can make any thing possible as it happened with a 40-year-old poverty-stricken A Venkat Giri of Jeypore in Orissa's Koraput district.

Giri entered into the Limca book of Record by doing a thermocol chain of nine links using needle and blade without any joints.

Remarkably, Giri had entered into the prestigious Limca book of record for the second time for his innovation and unique efforts during the past three to five years.

Born in a poor family, Giri had been struggling for a square meal since past 25 years by opening a petty tailor shop in a thatched house in Bhupati street here.

However, the ambition to enter the limca book of records was conceived in his mind in 1990s and he started tailoring vigorously to make an entry in the Limca book of record in 2003 for tailoring continuously nine hours 25 minutes and 25 seconds in 2001.

His second achievement was listed in the Limca book of record in 2006. The strong determination and response of Limca book record once again fascinated him and he started working on thermocol to make another achievement in the Limca book of record.

After one year of constant efforts he could make it possible of making a thermocol chain of line links without any separation or joints in the chain in 2003. His work was, however, listed in the 2006 edition of the Limca book of record.
