NSCN cadres killed in factional clash

Kohima, July 27 (UNI) At least three NSCN cadres of rival factions were killed and some others injured in a fierce inter-factional clash at Longlam village under Mon district.

Official sources said both factions of NSCN were engaged in a gun battle on Tuesday which lasted over an hour leaving two NSCN-IM and one NSCN (K) cadres dead in the Longlam village, between Naginimora and Tizit. Some cadres of both the factions were also injured but their exact number was yet to be ascertained.

Details were awaited, sources said.
